Blackberry is currently running an interesting competition called ‘Broadcast My Life’ in partnership with 5FM to promote their Blackberry Messenger (BBM).

In order to stand the chance to win a Blackberry Curve 3G phone participants have to use their Blackberry to ‘record their life’ and send it to Grant and Anele via BBM.  The best stories are played during Grant and Anele’s show every day from 12pm – 3pm.

Blackberry has shown strong growth in South Africa plus it’s one of the more affordable smartphones on the South African market.  BBM is definitely one of Blackberry’s keys to success and the other influencing factor in my opinion is free Internet browsing using the phone’s browser.
